Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to be an experienced coach to enroll?+
No. The training is especially useful to coaches and helping professionals with existing skills to organize, and serious beginners may enroll. Every student must complete the training, practice, projects, and competency requirements to certify.
Do I need NLP or hypnosis training first?+
No. You will learn the structure of coaching, offer design, client planning, session delivery, and progress review in this program. NLP and hypnosis are separate skills you can add through appropriate training if they fit the work you want to do.
When can I start?+
Because this is the first year of the program, online course access begins November 17, 2026. After that launch date, you can enroll and start with the available online lessons at any time. You can also attend office hours throughout the year.
What if I join after the live cohort begins?+
You can begin with available lessons, access recordings of live classes you missed, attend office hours, and join the remaining live classes. There is no deadline to complete certification.
What if I cannot attend the live cohort?+
You can fully certify online. In addition to the modules, quizzes, projects, and ten documented practice sessions, the online route requires at least one office hour and a recording of a complete coaching session. The program explains the full criteria and any additional requirements.
Where do I find someone to practice coaching with?+
You may coach someone you bring, work with another participant, or connect with someone through the Practice Partners channel in the learning portal. Both certification routes require ten documented practice coaching sessions.
Is this an ICF-accredited program?+
No. This is an independent NLP Institute of California certification with its own training, practice, project, and competency requirements. It is not represented as an ICF-accredited program or a path to an ICF credential.
What happens if I do not pass an assessment the first time?+
You can receive additional coaching, complete or improve the required work, and resubmit for assessment at no additional fee. There is no deadline to finish certification.
What if I already have a website and a coaching offer?+
You can refine your existing offer and apply the client-planning and session methods to the practice you already run. Website support is an implementation resource you can use if it serves you.
What is the refund policy?+
Complete the first online module or attend the first live session, whichever comes first. If you are not fully satisfied, request a full refund of tuition paid within one week of that experience and before beginning the next module.
